I sometimes go o...Astrid, I hear you on the snails! I sometimes go out in the early morning, and go snail hunting. I pick them up, and then take them to my chickens. They love them! I've also heard of setting a small lid filled with beer level with the ground. The beer attracts them, and they fall in and drown. Never tried this, but have heard it works. Seems like the only vegetable I've tried to grow here, that is not attacked by some bugs or snails, are leek.
