My Guys

I was looking back through some of my older pictures, and came across a bunch from a fishing trip we took a few years back. Here's one of our oldest. He was fly fishing.

We went to a lake, and Hubby got in one of the float tube thingies. These things are pretty cool. But, if you decide to get one, make sure you use sunblock on the tops of your feet. Just a thought!

Then Michael got his floaty thing out in the water. This one is a little different. In order to steer, you put these little fin things on your feet and kick, while going backwards. It's pretty funky until you get used to it.

This is David. He's our youngest. David and Dozer were down by a little creek, tossing rocks and sticks. They were both having a great time.

Dozer was after a stick that David threw for him. He's in heaven!

And he's waiting again! "Throw it! Throw it!" He could do this all day long. It's totally psycho!

This is one of my favorite pictures of all time. Dozer is after a stick, and absolutely flew into the water. Such fun to watch.

  2. What a beautiful place! Love the action shot of Dozer! Can't keep a Lab from the water, that's for sure.

  3. That shot of Dozer jumping in is wonderful!
Looks like a fun place to hang out...though I'm not really sure about going backward down river.

  5. Elzaan, you're welcome! I loved that weekend.

APG, that's my favorite picture of Dozer. He just loves the water!

Sue, we had a great time. That was actually in a lake, not a river. That would make me nervous, too!!

Lynda, yeah, kinda makes me want to leave for a bit again, too. These were off of 49, up by Bassetts. We went on that road a few miles back and picked one of the bazillion lakes back there, I think it was Haven, or something close to that. Be sure to take bug spray!!! The other pictures of Dozer and David are at Lincoln meadows, up on the summit. Email me if you want more directions.

  6. Lynda, I forgot to tell you. Last year, Michael got a lab pup and named him Hank, too! After Hank Williams. Great name for a great dog.
