Ahhh, I'm entering the 21st century! Slowly, ever so slowly. It's part of my nature not to do anything fast.
I'm home after visiting with my friend, Diana. We watched three (yea, count 'em, 3!) movies last night. That's more tv in one 24 hour period than I've seen in probably the last 2 months all together. We stayed up late, ate nachos, brownies, and had strawberry smoothies. We talked long into the night solving the world's problems, while Clyde, the cat, took up residence first on Diana, then me. The dog removed himself to the kitchen when we got tired of constantly petting him. It was fun, relaxing, and nice to just totally relax before the new school year starts in just a few short weeks. Summer, as I know it, is almost over. Soon, I will be back to an alarm, a schedule, and the daily routine of my comfortable life. After a summer of rest and relaxation at home, I look forward to a new and challenging year, although the first few weeks are always a little hard on me. I enjoy the day to day schedule of working with the kids, but it always takes a little while to establish that comfortable routine.
Dearest sister in law (more sister of heart) if I can say that. I loved your first entry. Nachos, brownies, and smoothies, that sounds like a good decadent meal! I am so glad that you are doing this, what a way to keep in touch! I am going to add you to my blog list so that I check in with you on a regular basis!
